9/11 was an attack by a foreign terrorist organization. (Al-Queda). They were not trying to overthrow the United States, just keep us out of Middle East conflicts. (it didn’t work).
It was the first (and so far the only) time the flag of an enemy nation ever flew inside the U.S. Capitol Building
And the flag of Al-Queda was never flown inside the U.S. Capitol building by members of Al-Queda.
And it was done by Americans.
And in doing so, some of them flew the flag of an enemy nation that DID attack the United States and try to defeat us.
